Society causes people to be estranged from their skin

Each day we encounter countless people (either in person or via media channels) and we often relate superficially to these masses of people. Emptiness, triviality, hatred, obliviousness, and nonchalance are common traits. People are largely indifferent to the feelings of their fellow humans. We see our fellow humans as commodities to be exploited. This is a situation of each man or woman for themselves. People fight to survive. Despite an uneasy truce people are constantly battling against their fellow humans. It is a world of constant mental warfare. Within our materialistic world people are treated as either objects to be consumed, statistics, or obstacles to be avoided. On busy roads, highways, streets, footpaths, or in cyber-space, we wade through numerous mass-produced automatons. Hate, fear, and emptiness prevail.

“Love” is tainted because people only embrace romance to defend themselves against a hostile world. Love is a diplomatic business alliance. Tainted love and sexual obsession are commonplace: various images can be seen everyday of women, and men, selling their bodies via sexually flirtatious poses. These sex objects (sexually objectified humans) are eagerly consumed by masses of people.

A general sense of inhuman unreality and fantasy permeates our modern world. Reality is too horrific to contemplate therefore people embrace fictions, perversions, delusions and illusions thereby creating deeper alienation. People have lost contact with what it actually means to be human. Inhuman indifference to fellow humans is considered normal. Each day we accept examples of alienation (inhumanity) without being overly concerned. There is an endless stream of debauchery, degeneracy, despicableness.

Do you think modern life is SHIT, IDIOTIC, or NONSENSE? Maybe you’re tired of your dehumanised civilisation. Dehumanisation is everywhere. People are akin to numbers or barcodes processed by the machine. Public nakedness reasserts the human aspect. Skin Freedom reminds people of what we truly are. We are not robots underneath our clothes. We are emotional humans: unique, awesome, and amazing! Under our clothes: We are the antidote to our own dehumanisation.

Alienation is unfortunately very normal in the so-called “civilised world” therefore you could say the human race is suffering from mass psychosis. Each day it is normal to hear about sexual assaults, knife crime, murder, bombings, war, theft, greed etc. People are deeply estranged from their humanness. Inhumanity is the normal state of affairs. Unreality or estrangement from reality is deeply entrenched therefore a naked human in public is considered abnormal but in reality skin freedom is actually normal.

Within totalitarian regimes stripping prisoners naked is unsurprisingly considered to be torture. Being human in an inhuman environment is deemed a weakness by inhuman people. Inhuman people revel in the security their clothing gives them. Enforced nakedness within inhuman environments is an “attack” on the naked person because the nakedness (humanness) of the victim is mercilessly “exposed” to a cruel mob of inhuman people. Only within inhuman regimes is it possible to mock the humanness (nakedness) of prisoners. Inhuman (alienated) people feel protected from the viciousness of our cruel and heartless world if they can conceal their bodies. When the environment is inhuman there is a desire to conceal your body. The problem with inhuman-psychological-environments is that concealment of humanness makes the world increasingly inhuman. This is a vicious circle therefore we need to change the direction of civilisation. Humanness must be reasserted. Our world is very inhuman and this must change.
